People are entitled to their own opinions, not their own facts. Let me get yours straight.
First of all, GMs are allowed to intervene if deemed necessary and non game breaking. In this specific instance, we did not at first know what was the cause of the error and what the consequences would be to meddle with the structure ingame. When the structure went into shield reinforcement for the third time, we felt that was gamebreaking and intervened after consulting with the relevant developers. We did not do so because of this forum thread and there is no indication that your opponents were willfully and consistently exploiting a bug of this sort as you seem to suggest in your original post.
We will continue to do our best to assist you in any way we can when issues of this nature crop up. Please understand that we need to exercise caution when dealing with structures of this type and we need to understand the nature of the problems at hand.
Finally, thank you all for your dedication to EVE and your part in making our world rich and interesting.

Assuming that what SirMolle said in his OP is true and he did petition this for 3d, and all that he got was 'it's not exploiting' one can hardly blame him for starting this thread.
Perhaps in the future you should get some competent GM's that actually play the game - this coming from someone who petitioned twice in the last 2 weeks only having to teach the GM in question game mechanics, and improve your communication skills.
When one needs to make a CAOD thread to bring it to the attention of the powers to be, then there is something terribly wrong with them powers.
